Southbourne (Blue Flag) beach is situated towards the end of Bournemouth bay, away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth town, and a gem for anyone looking for a quieter spot for sunbathing, swimming, surfing, or walking .
Bistro on the Beach can be found nestled below the slopes off Southbourne Coast Road, right on the promenade and has stunning sea views from every table. Delicious seafood, salads or meat dishes are on the menu, freshly prepared and served to a very high standard, using locally sourced produce, whenever possible. Complete with a fully licensed bar and a table service, it’s the perfect venue for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or just snacks.
A takeaway facility is also adjacent with a large choice of New Forest Ice Creams, fast food and drinks to take on the beach.
Free Car Parking on Southbourne Coast Road and a large car Park at Warren Edge Road Car Park are situated directly above the Bistro.

Access Southbourne beach directly from Southbourne high street through Fisherman's walk.
The beach is popular with young families due to convenient facilities such as toilets with baby changing facilities, lost children centres, RNLI lifeguard stations, pubs and ice cream kiosks."
